The origin or language can be filtered by typing "origin" in your search such as "latin origin words", "old-english origin" or any other origin/root you can think of. You can also use origins and languages with the baby names finder such as irish boy names. Find a list of words starting with or ending with certain letters and containing or not containing certain letters, and spelled with such as words spelled with ie. Solve word puzzles using dashes or underscores such as "solve p__zle". Find words with several consonants or vowels together such as 2 consonants in a row, or 2 vowels in a row. Having multiple vowels together is not the same as searching double vowels or consonants though, like that of the double vowel (oo in foot) or double consonants (zz in pizza). Try combinations too, such as searching for "8 letter words with double vowels and double consonants" in the search bar.
If a search does not provide results, leave feedback in the comment area or through the feedback button on each page. Your suggestion should be implemented within 5 business days as long as it would be valuable to the word search community, and I have time to add it to the website.

Etymology - Word History & Roots
I've included in the β Users Mode, the ability to find words lists by their origin. A list of all word origin and word root options can be found under Etymology Tools.
Searching for origin list and word roots lists using a collocation word such as Old English ( Old & English ), you must add the dash in the spacing. Example: Old-English origins. There are nearly 6,500 spoken langauges in the world! I've had to organize each of them, and ensure collocations did not get combined. Currently, only 334 origin word lists available.
- Example Search: Words with French origins starting with a ( Will list Old French, and Middle French and French )
- Example Specific: Old-English origin word list ( Would list only Old English and not Middle English or English root words )

The easiest search you can perform, is likely finding words starting with a set of letters or ending with the set of letters. Just like the starting and ending option, you can search for words with # vowels, consonants, syllables and words with the letters a-z.
